I have always been a fan of Acer. I have been using their laptops for time and have had no issues. While Acer is not the most affordable and popular these days, they have 1 model that is cheap, small, and very useful for blogging, the Acer Chromebook R11.
This small but capable little work-horse is small, 11 inches, making it almost invisible, and still has great battery life. Its specs are rather modest but it still performs very well on common blogging tasks. This is the ideal laptop for you to use while traveling and blogging on the go. It is excellently priced at around $359.
Noted, this laptop is not designed for rigorous work. However, it is perfect for travel. And for this price, you can keep it in your bag and use the big bulky machines at home.
